Competitions

It began with Xavier & I going to a family cottage on a secluded & deep lake.  The people there already had just finished eating on the fire and had made it too big to cook on anymore.  Xavier & I took a coal and began making our own smaller fire for our food.  (People who were there: mom, Steve, Sean, Jacquline, Opa, Uncle David & a few others).  My friend Nicolai ended up coming walking down the hill to our fire with two other friends.  They had come to Canada a few weeks ago and were camping along the Bruce & had heard that we were at a cottage nearby so they came to visit with us.  We all made some lunch together then My Uncle Dave said that he'd look after my Opa (Xavier & I were supposed to be) while Sean showed us around.
On the top floor of the cottage there was a long rectangular research lab built out of cedar.  It went out from the steep hill over top of the lake, there were two windows that had a small platform that I thought was for sitting.  As I sat on it the people who ran the lab told me to jump.  The drop was about 1.5 times bigger than the Elora quarry:

I said that I didn't want to & they kept pressing.  Eventually I told them that I'd jump from the dock & see how far down I could swim and they took that.  Sean said that he would jump off since he does it nearly every day.  The people in the lab were trying to see how deep a human could go before loosing their breath & that jumping from a high place would give them more depth than if they were to swim off of the dock.  They continued to say that Sean has been training for over a year and has only made it half way to the bottom of the lake.  Jacquline appeared saying that she wasn't fond of the experiment because eventually Sean will go too far down and we wouldn't be able to get him out.

We continued to wander around the cottage (which was huge).  When we walked through a set of doors it led into my high school auditorium which at this point a the group of people from Community (TV show) came running down the aisles shooting at us & at themselves. They had chosen teams of two, each team had a better or worse weapon (none of which could kill - the guns would shoot air bullets & the swords were made out of flimsy plastic.  Since I had no idea what was happening I was given the Arabian night plastic sword from Aladdin and put in a group of three with Shirley and a friend from elementary school (David). To make it a bit more fair they gave my team a bit more time to find a hiding spot.  Shirley wanted to hide back stage in the costume rack so we could jump out and attack who ever was walking by.  The only problem was that our swords were so large that they were sticking out by a good foot from the top of the clothing rack.  David and I told her to wait there and that we would try to get more equipment.

We ended up going to where all of my things were being kept (along the edge of a look out point).  We climbed along the outside of it clinging onto the railing with our arms.  It reminded me of going along the via ferrata with Xavier.  He had told me to hold on like this in order to save up my strength:

but the bar was too thick and my hands were sweaty from being afraid of the height so I continued holding on like this

hooking my arms around so that the bar was at my elbows.  As we were looking at what was there it turned out to be mostly children books mixed with a few poster cards.  David was telling me stories of each of the postcards which had cartoon characters on them scribbled in ink.
While we were talking what was below us some how turned into a go kart track and the people from Community were racing below us at 200km/hr.  We found Shirley, got into a car but she started driving the wrong way and an extremely high speed!  She kept screaming that she didn't think it was safe and we were screaming back at her that it wasn't as motorcycles were screaming past us nearly going over top of our roof as we went by.

Then I woke up.

Poisonous Spiders in S. Africa

I was sitting around in my living room with a bunch of people having conversations with them all.  We got onto the topic of South Africa, since my friend David was from there and was with us.  There was another person who had been on a two week trip to S.A. only he had hated it.  David and I were confused by this since it was the same amazing trip that I had been on.  After he described a few strange stories of him walking down the middle of the road waving his arms in the air (among other things) we figured that he had been bitten by a poisonous spider which caused him to hallucinate the entire time he was there.

Music

Lately I haven't had any dreams but have found myself singing songs to myself as I wake up.

The first was execution day (which is terrifying to be singing at 4am when you're alone needing to use the washroom and a balloon in the shape of a head floats past you in the living room.

When it was time to wake up I was singing You're my flame by zero 7

Cats & Treeplanters

One day I felt a little bit off and ran off to a treeplanter campsite.  It was dark and rainy so everyone went to their own tents.  Later that evening I gave birth to a brown & grey tabby cat and felt very attatched to him.  I didn't feel as though anyone would believe that this was possible so I brought him home pretending that I found him on the side of the street hoping that I would be able to keep him.  (I was still living at home apparently)
My mom said that he wouldn't get along very well with Farley and to put him back on the side of the road.  I had a very long mornful walk down the driveway to put him along the gutter.  As I was putting him down there was two older ladies walking their dog (I was afraid that the dog might eat my little tabby) and they were commenting how quickly it was possible to give birth to a cat even, though I had not mentioned it to anyone.

Runaway Weddings

It started in a dark musky room.  There were 70's yellow wool curtains on the windows that didn't look like they had been open in years.  There were boxes in the closet that seemed as though someone had just put them there the day before to make it seem cleaner than it actually was but it only showed off the brown carpet even more.  I peaked my head outside the door to see what where I was.  From the door I could see my entire church that I used to go between the ages of 7 & 12, I was probably in the baptism waiting room.  All of the seats were filled, I recognized a few faces but not all that many and they all seemed very dreary and bored.
Classical music began playing and I decided to go out exploring without being noticed.  I was able to sneak behind stage and go to the other side of the building.  I found a large part outside of the congregation room that was blocked off by a black curtain and a few stands.  I sat on the third from the top and saw Roohen there.  I asked him what was going on and he said that everyone was here for my wedding.  Then a group of young musicians came in and started playing contemporary music which was amazing!  Half way through the second song I told Roohen that I didn't want to get married since I didn't know who the groom was.  He thought this was a good excuse so we ran off to Germany.
I remember driving down a whitish grey highway and getting off at a place that looked like Newfoundland (from the colourful houses).  They were too close together to be Canada then I noticed everyone speaking German.  I began to feel very familiar in the area so I followed my instincts and found myself in a place I had been before.  There was a Barn with a string of lights going across a long salty pool attaching onto a green house kitty-corner to it and a long picnic table.  There was music coming from the barn so Roohen went in there.  I sat amongst a group of people at the long picnic table to see what the occasion was.  Apparently it was Klaus's wedding but him & Lea had left already.
One of the guys at the table was discussing about how the water pipes were rotting away in the city and that the ground water was very toxic and shouldn't be getting into the drinking water supply.  At this point Roohen was swimming in the long pool, I joined for a quick lap then came back to the table again.  They were still talking about the water supply.  We had a few other conversations that I don't quite remember.
Then I woke up.

Colourful Hill

My brother, Omi & I were on a trip together (maybe Ireland) and my brother was complaining that he hadn't been drunk in 4 full days.
My Omi, wanting to make him happy, hired two bartenders to come and give us beer since we were in the middle of nowhere with no pubs around (perhaps we weren't in Ireland).
They brought two coolers full of ice & beer along with a portable bar that they drank behind until they were too drunk to serve us anymore. Once they were like that they told us to get the beer ourselves from the coolers and to stop annoying them.
The ice was completely solid so we had to chip it away ourselves and found that all of the beer bottles were broken from their hasty trip over to serve us. We got annoyed and went on an exploration trip instead.

dream-like scene:

We were standing on a green hill about 30 feet above a small fishermen's village and the land on the other side of the cove started moving (which seemed very natural). As it was going around the corner a giant hill appeared.  It was made out of smaller ones making it look like fish scales. The bottom hills were bright red, the next orange, yellow, lime, kelly green & finally a dark green. On top of each small hill was a folk musician playing or singing something different from the other but together sounded very beautiful.

Then I woke up

Rain

As soon as I started this I stopped dreaming for a while here's the first one since then.

I walked out of the house and the whole world had a greyish brown tinge to it which gave it a mystical beauty.  There were lots of beautiful tall slim women walking along the sidewalk.  As I walked down the street it started to rain lightly which made all of the women's clothes dissolve away.  It seemed completely natural to everyone and they kept walking to where they needed to be.  I could feel every raindrop refreshing my skin.  The scene was very beautiful with a mist coming through, large maples and tall grass lining the quiet street.
